You should be in your homeroom class.

General :

Are you looking to brighten someone's day right before the holidays? Then, order a Ringpop candygram for a friend or even yourself! Student Council will sell candygrams for $1 during all three lunches next week. Ringpops will be delivered during lunches on December 18th. 

As a reminder lockers are available and should be used for coats and backpacks, they shouldn't be stored in classrooms or hallways for the day.

Lunch

-Have your ID out and ready to help move the lunch lines along quicker. Decide what you want before you get in line, grab your sides, and then move straight to one of the four pay lines.

Sports

This week our 8th grade girls basketball team will play their first home game of the season on Thursday after school.  If you plan to attend, we want to remind all students of the following expectations when attending our athletic events:

Students need to stay seated during the games 

Positively support and cheer on our student athletes

Show good sportsmanship to all athletes at the event

Help keep our bleachers and gym clean by picking up your area when you leave

Treat all students, parents, and staff with respect while at the event

Students will be asked to leave if they are unable to follow these expectations

Today is Middle School Night at City High's Girl's Basketball Game vs Western Dubuque. Any SEMS student will receive free admission (must show ID) and a free bag of popcorn. The JV1 game begins at 6 pm, and the Varsity game follows around 7:30

• Taylor Swift Club: Oct 8th (once a month)  with Ms. Eslami

•  Hawk Squad (8th Graders): room 1144 with Mr. Madsen

•   Library League: Library with Ms. Sims

After School Clubs-

• Coding Club- room 1186 until 5 pm with Ms. Anderson

•  Geek the Library- Library until 5 pm with Ms. Sims

• Black History Game Show Club: room 2025 with Ms. Palante

• Math Club- room 1122  until 5:10 pm with Mr. Miller

• Ultimate Frisbee Club- Field between SE and Mercer from 4-5
